Dr. Nikhil Agrawal

Dr. Nikhil Agrawal is Senior Consultant – GI Surgery, Centre for Advanced Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Surgery at Dharamshila Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi. He was trained at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. He did his masters in surgery from Banaras Hindu University and thereafter completed his M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has also undergone training in complex laparoscopic hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery from the world-renowned Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Korea. Dr. Nikhil Agrawal has a wide range of experience and expertise in performing complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries. His forte is advanced laparoscopic GI and HPB procedures. He is a keen academician and has many publications in reputed national and international journals. He has also contributed chapters in journals and textbooks. His areas of interest include pancreatitis, hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers, gastrointestinal cancers, advanced laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery to name a few. Dr. Nikhil Agarwal is also a member of IASG, IHPBA (Indian Chapter), IASGO, SSAT and ASI.
